Happy Birthday Sir Horace

Party with the man who designed Tower Bridge

Sir Horace Jones (the man who designed Tower Bridge) is the subject of an exhibition coinciding with the bicentenary of his birth.

As the exhibition is aimed specifically at a younger audience what better way to ensure everyone had a great time than by turning it into his 200th Birthday Party.

Both the space and the man himself were transformed. VIP guests came along to celebrate his life and achievements and you could even sit down with them and create your own Sir Horace Beard, whilst enjoying a slice of cake.

Touchscreen interactives gave visitors the opportunity to light the candles on the birthday cake, by answering questions using their new-found knowledge.

Finally, a hunt to find dragons that are hiding on buildings designed by Sir Horace, all around London, meant visitors left the exhibition inspired to continue their adventure.
