Step into the past

rebranding and overhauling a virtual reality experience.

Over 800,000 people from around the world visit Tower Bridge every year, to explore the history and enjoy the views from London’s defining landmark.

mr. creative rebranded the VR experience - increasing awareness, and improving the visitor experience through packaging, POS, wayfinding and onscreen animation.

Wifi hotspots were highlighted, where visitors could connect and immerse themselves in the history of the Bridge, travelling back in time to mix with workers during the construction of the bridge 1891, and feel the heat of the coal fired engine rooms as they power the steam engines to raise the bridge.

The VR headset was redesigned to cleverly incorporate the new Tower Bridge logo, and the 3D experience even extended into the POS, to convey the WOW-factor visitors could expect.

“mr. creative were so easy to work with.

They quickly understood the nature of what we were trying to achieve and successfully brought it to life for our visitor’s enjoyment.

They were reassuringly calm and flexible, at all times.”

Adam Blackwell, Principal Exhibition Manager, Tower Bridge
